
The Stevensville softball team hosted Bitterroot Valley neighbor Corvallis on Tuesday, April 28. The game was an offensive battle that saw 23 total runs.
Stevensville trailed 7-11 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, then erupted for five runs to get the 12-11 victory. In the final play of the game, Maddix Yeager came to the plate with the bases loaded and hit a double into left, scoring all three runs.
For Stevensville, Yeager went 2 for 5 and had six RBIs. Olivia Hanson went 3 for 4, scored four runs, and had two RBIs; and Emma Tan went 2 for 4, scored two runs, and had two RBIs.
For Corvallis, Ella Daly went 2 for 4 with three RBIs. Brooklyn Cary went 2 for 5, scored two runs, and had two RBIs; and Isabella Cardullo went 2 for 5 and scored three runs.
