A day of national giving, #Giving Tuesday will be celebrated this holiday season on Tuesday, November 29 and the Bitter Root Humane Association (BRHA) animal shelter would like to invite all community youth to participate in “Pennies for Pets.”
The event is open to any youth in Ravalli County and is very simple: Collect change in any denomination and donate your collection to the shelter on or by #Giving Tuesday, November 29th. Participants are encouraged to include their family, friends, neighbors and schools in this “giving activity” and the shelter will be open that day from 1 to 6 p.m. to receive donations. Although coins can be collected and brought in any container, the shelter does have a limited amount of little red dog house collection banks that are available to anyone wishing to stop by and pick one up while they last. Other ways to help BRHA this #Giving Tuesday and any time can be found at www.bitterroothumane.org. For info call the shelter at (406) 363-5311 or email to brhafront@bitterroothumane.org.
