Let the voting begin!

May 17, 2016 by Guest Post

Absentee ballots have been mailed and received. Time to look at the Ravalli County ballot! Soon time to consider the candidates on a sample Primary Election Ballot printed in the newspapers. Not much interested in the Primary Election? Please remember that in December of 2018, all the terms expire for all sitting, and elected in 2016, Ravalli County Commissioners, and six of the seven elected Ravalli County officials!
Ravalli County residents will now, and during elections in 2018, benefit from quality elected officials who actively support law and order to protect people from the rich and powerful.
Here’s one example. Officials who will speak truth to power and push back against junk like a subdivision of expensive homes, with sewage plumbed into a relatively inexpensive common septic system discharging into a second rate drainfield about 4/5 of a mile from the Bitterroot River.
How about putting in a well to monitor that sewage slowly flowing underground toward the river? Oh no, the central government has already decided a monitor well is not necessary. Not even when ground water is a few feet below ground level.
What are we then to do? Dig down and take samples? Deliver samples to whom?
