We must act now

May 4, 2016 by Guest Post

I would like to give a huge thank you to the United States Congress for making bison our National Mammal. Congress can actually work together to do good things!
Maybe we can encourage Congress to do more good things, like saving the newborn birds and mammals (including bison calves and children) from having birth defects and other health issues because of exposure to environmental toxins. Thank Congress for making the bison the National Mammal and suggest that they have the EPA find what is causing the birth defects (and cancer). Everyone I talk to states that they can see the birth defects on the deer and domestic animals in the yards and fields. Doesn’t that concern anyone? According to studies, human babies are being born with the same birth defects. Other birth defects and
health issues are even worse on the human babies. We need to find the cause and soon!
I have never been able to forgive my forebears for participating in or standing by while millions of bison were slaughtered and left to rot and millions of passenger pigeons were annihilated. A great extinction process (biocide) is in progress right now and our grandchildren and great grandchildren will not forgive us for standing by and allowing it to happen.
