Corvallis – John DeMyer, 40, of Corvallis MT went to be with the Lord January 26th, 2016 at St. Pat’s hospital, having been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in September.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Emily DeMyer (Mapledoram) of almost 19 years (married in Stevensville on March 29th, 1997). John was a loving and devoted husband. He enjoyed his children fully and was an exemplary and inspiring father. Leaving his legacy of faith, his precious children: daughters Sabrina, Sarah, Susannah, Abigail and Isabella, sons Reuben, Nicholas, Samuel and Isaac.
He is also survived by his parents Robert Sr and Donna DeMyer, siblings Robert Jr (Heidi) DeMyer, Jeannie (Rick) Colwell, grandmother Donna Pine and beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, in laws James and Kathleen Mapledoram, brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews who will greatly miss their “Uncle John”!
Born in Redding CA, April 5th, 1975, John was a Bitterroot resident for 23 years, contractor and owner of Artistic Log Creations & General Contracting, he built beautiful homes, excelling in quality and integrity in all he did.
He was a member of Christ Church Missoula, an active leader in 4H, he enjoyed helping others and serving in the church. The legacy he leaves behind is one of purpose in life to serve the Lord and bring glory to Him!
