Marty Essen, in his 19 August 2015 letter to the Bitterroot Star editor, apparently believes that the negotiated nuclear agreement with Iran is “a huge step towards peace in the Middle East.” Rationally thinking Americans surely wouldn’t agree with Marty. That agreement allows the Iranians to inspect themselves for compliance with negotiated requirements! Letting anyone inspect themselves for compliance to anything is preposterous and seems equivalent to letting jail prisoners run the prison. Marty should have torn up his letter rather than demonstrate his naiveté!
