On behalf of the Darby Trail of Discovery Committee, I want to send out a heartfelt “Thank You” to all those who took time this past Saturday morning to join in on the Darby Trail Weed Clean Up Party. It was held on our regular annual trail clean up day and was sponsored by the Ravalli County Weed District. So much was accomplished in the way of eradicating noxious weeds along our trail, plus there was general trail clean up and re-staining of our benches and interpretive signs. We were especially fortunate to have Weed District Coordinator, Kellieann Morris, head up the event helping us learn about the different types of weeds in our area, rolling up her sleeves and pitching right in with us, and then feeding us a lovely picnic lunch afterwards. It was a great community project and our committee really appreciates the help from all involved!
