Stevensville – Richard “Dick” Mucha passed away on August 15, 2026 after an unexpected medical issue. He was born September 13, 1943, in Antigo, Wisconsin. After moving to and growing up in Neenah Wisconsin, he moved to Montana in 1977 with his family and worked for the Forest Service, as a wildland firefighter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Grace Mucha, a sister Shirley Willes and both his children, Christina Mucha-Blakey and Scott Mucha. He is survived by his wife, Judy, of almost 58 years. He is also survived by his older brother, Robert, and his wife, Myrna Mucha; numerous nieces and nephews.
