RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OR DISPOSAL OF SCHOOL PROPERTY
CORVALLIS SCHOOL DISTRICT #1

WHEREAS the Board of Trustees of Corvallis School District #1, Ravalli County, at a regular board meeting held on August 11, 2026, at the Corvallis High School Library, adopted the following resolutions:
“Be it resolved that the Trustees of School District #1 have determined that certain items, as indicated on the attached Exhibit A, are undesirable for school purposes of said District and petition is made to sell or otherwise dispose of such property in accordance with the provisions of State Law 20-6-604.”
THEREFORE: The Board of Trustees has considered and determined it necessary to adopt this resolution for the sell and or disposal of surplus property.

The above Resolution will become effective: September 1, 2026.
Certain items of personal property are obsolete, undesirable, or unsuitable for school purposes. A listing of the items in Exhibit A may be picked up at the Corvallis School District Office.
Now therefore, be it resolved the District intends to sell and or dispose of said property to better use and to no longer have to care, maintain, and store said property.
Any taxpayer may appeal the resolution of the trustees, at any time prior to the effective date of the resolution, to the district court by filling a verified petition with the clerk of the court and serving a copy of the petition upon the district. Any appeal must follow the procedures of State Law MCA, 20-6-604.
