Tip-Off Tournament in Hamilton

The Hamilton school district hosted the 13C/14C Tip Off Tournament on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6. A total of 14 high school boys and girls basketball teams competed in the tournament. Most were from the 13C and 14C conferences, but the teams from Darby and the Hamilton JV teams also played in the tournament. 

Darby

The Darby boys played Drummond on Friday and won 62-51. For Darby, Leif Nelson led the way with 21 points, Jordan Browning added 16, Oliver Long had 8, Gavin Anderson and Q. Woirhaye each had 6, Abe Atkins had 3, and Daniel Stewart had 2.

Then on Saturday, Darby played Lincoln and lost 46-65. For Darby, Leif Nelson led the scoring with 25 points, Jordan Browning had 11 points, Oliver Long and Gavin Anderson each had 3, and Daniel Stewart added 2.

The Darby girls played Drummond on Friday and lost 24-45. For Darby, Hadley Heiland led the scoring with 9 points, Natalie Anderson and Brooklyn Janis each had 5, Austin Hackel had 3, and Brooklyn Rodgers added 2. 

Then on Saturday, they played Lincoln and lost 30-50. For Darby, Hadley Heiland led the way with 11 points, Brooklyn Janis and Brooklyn Rodgers each had 6, Natalie Anderson had 4, and Austin Hackel added 3.

Victor

The Victor boys played Charlo on Friday and lost 18-64. For Victor, Kordel Martin led with 9 points, Hayes Lukes had 7, and Keagan Eakle added 2.

Then on Saturday, the Victor boys played Alberton and lost 37-64. For Victor, Colin Lewis led with 18 points, Kordel Martin had 11, Hayes Lukes had 5, and Ben Neider added 4. 

The Victor girls played Charlo on Friday and lost 37-58. For Victor, Nichole Bugli led the way with 11 points, Brooklyn Cary had 7, Asia Parks had 5, Whitney Bugli had 3, and Lili Buchanan and Stella Jordan each added 2.

Then on Saturday the Victor girls played Alberton and won 54-13. For Victor, Nichole Bugli had 26 points, Brooklyn Cary had 19, Claira Jordan had 10 points, Stella Jordan had 2, and Lili Buchanan added 1.
