Surprised, but not really

December 2, 2025 by Guest Post 8 Comments

by Tom Tunny, Hamilton

I was quite surprised last week to see that Senators Daines and Sheehy and Representatives Zinke and Downing all voted for the release of the Epstein files. I thought that they had “found religion,” but I should have known the only religion they believe in is MAGA and Trump! President Trump said vote in the affirmative and they said “yes, sir!” What a sad state of affairs when our elected representatives do not care about their constituents and only care about their “Dear Leader.”

I do not want to belabor the Epstein affair, but it just serves as an example of how subservient our elected statewide officials are to one man in the White House. NO COURAGE! I only hope that President Trump gives them the same marching orders to vote in favor of supporting the current Affordable Care Act! Again, it is surprising to see how little our elected representatives care about the health and well-being of their constituents here in Montana! We shall see!

Let me mention that there will be an informational meeting for “Bitterroot Indivisibles” on Thursday, December 4 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Grange Hall south of Hamilton. The “Indivisibles” sponsored the NO KINGS march. They are inviting like-minded individuals to hear about their program and sign up to help with future events. Thanks!

“What a sad state of affairs when our elected representatives do not care about their constituents and only care about their Dear Leader.” Tom, this is your quote. The real sad state of affairs was our previous ABSENT buffoon being led by unelected Lefters and an Auto Pen. I don’t recall the Dems breaking rank with the Ghost and his hidden clan.

    Frank,
Don’t like Obamacare that has enabled millions of Americans have health insurance for the first time? Pass something better. But, of course, you can’t.
Soros funding No Kings? Prove it or shut up.

Frank, In Wayne’s world, He gets to spout of lies and Propaganda but when you spout off facts, he gives you a homework assignment. You see, Wayne’s Blinders see one way only….left. Oh, and if the Democrats say it, it’s truth, if the republicans say, it’s conspiracy theory or lies. He’s a man of the party and nothing else but as you’ve noticed when he has no knows you’re right, he gets angry.
      Party on Wayne.

The truth is that Obama Care has been a complete failure and there is nothing “grassroots” or honorable about the Indivisible movement. Both are scams and you are a fool for believing in either. Obama Care is drowning our families in medical debt and the idiotic “No Kings/Indivisible” group (funded by George Soros and other criminals) is nothing but the radical left’s desperation. We aren’t buying either, so you might as well pack it up, you are done.

While the ACA is far from perfect, for those on it its a godsend. I know of two households who had to file for bankruptcies (pre-ACA) due to unpaid medical bills after serious diseases ravaged them financially. I think it’s an awful shame that bankruptcies of this nature are still the #1 cause for bankruptcies in a country that is so well off. As my boss once told me “don’t come to me with complaints unless you have a solution” the GOP has not come forward with a solution in 14 years, even though promised many times.
