So, today I am in receipt of a campaign letter from our Congressman Ryan Zinke. Along with the blah, blah, blah of political blah, blah, blah, he just about breaks an arm patting hisself on the back over “Killing a Plan to Sell Public Lands.” Huh! NADA about the Sheep Creek Mine being on the fast track. He does, however, link hisself to Teddy Roosevelt with the comparison of hisself defending our “San Juan Hill” of public lands while neglecting an issue near and dear to the hearts of people that love the Bitterroot Valley…The Sheep Creek Mine.
Talk about outta touch! At least our tax dollars allowed him to pat himself on the back with his free snail mail as a congressperson. I do wonder if the slow acknowledgement of his role in passing the Public Lands Act might stem from the slow mail service we all get to enjoy due to DeJoy? No matter, I suppose, to the likes of him. He doesn’t get to have his mail sent to Spokane like when we send a letter to Corvallis from Darby.
I wonder if he and his comrades will bring up a vote regarding Venezuela? He seems to be fine sitting back blowing his own horn when it comes to whether or not we will be invading that country because they have the 3rd largest oil reserve in the world. He sits back while the administration that he works for kills people in the open ocean. Ya know – in some circles that’s called murder! You know when you have a guy sitting up there and acting as jury, judge, and executioner. Then telling everyone that it’s OK cuz they are big orange and not small brown like the people in the boat. Makes a guy wonder just who he’s working for – ya know?
