Trump wages war on his own people. Us, Americans. US citizens. This man is a raving maniac. Now he’s giving clemency and pardons to convicted politicians, jailed felons, a jailed rapper, a gangster leader convicted of murder, a sheriff guilty of fraud, a jailed couple who stole $30 million, a guy who ran a dark web enterprise, a guy whose Mommy went to a Trump dinner, paying $1million for her seat there. It got her a pardon for her boyo. Anyone who can bribe him. And just for kicks, our Ambassador to France is a convicted criminal. Jared Kushner’s Daddy.
Trump investigates and prosecutes anyone who opposes him. He attacks federal workers, our universities, lawyers, teachers, scientists only because he thinks he can. The people who bothered to get an education because they knew they weren’t all-knowing at birth. People who knew there was information, expertise, knowledge out there that didn’t come in their placenta.
He abuses our allies and embraces our enemies. He smashed FEMA so they can’t help regions pummeled by nature, like North Carolina. He has put the White House up for sale, granting access and benefits to anyone with money who’ll bribe him. He sells junk, crypto, coins, useless drek to benefit himself and his family. He kneecaps our respected military, firing senior officers who have served for decades with distinction. He replaces them with spineless juniors whose command experience is slim.
When are our so-called conservative Republican friends going to notice? I thought they wanted smaller government. Well, fire a bunch of workers willy-nilly. Never mind what their jobs are— or rather, were. People who protected us. Smart, dedicated people. Trained, trusted specialists. Trump cut off our nose to spite our face and he tells us to suck it up. And then there are the tariffs. $54 TRILLION of wealth lost in his first foray.
Make the government small and stupid. That’s what he wants us to be. Small and stupid. And helpless.
Mike Miller says
Linda, Biden did many of things you mention, but you didn’t cry about it when he was president. Why?
WMA says
Mike,
Name one. Thanks in advance.
Mike Miller says
WMA,
First, congratulations on seemingly learning to use the “reply button’!
Now, be careful what you ask for. According to the February 7, 2025 Pew Research link (I’d happily supply the link itself for you, but Victoria “I MAKE THE RULES AROUND HERE!” censors me when I provide sourced references): Former President Joe Biden granted more acts of clemency than any previous chief executive on record, according to a Pew Research Center analysis”. Among them are his son Hunter who was a jailed felon for 3 felonies related to a revolver purchase in 2018.
I named one, as you wanted me to. You’re welcome. Additionally, there’s a really long list of who Biden pardoned and what they did, obtainable on multiple sites. They’re easy to find on the interweb, as I did.
Look them up on your own and educate yourself. Thanks in advance.
WMA says
Question: don’t you ever get tired of kissing Trump’s fat butt?
Nice try. Concerned about Hunter, a non violent felon, being pardoned, But you are fine with Trump pardoning hundreds of VIOLENT felons. Mike, you have a really screwed up view of the world.
Alan says
Your first 7 TDS rants sucked, eighth somehow is worse.
WMA says
Alan,
How bad do things have to get in this country for you to realize that Trump is a dictator wannabe?
PF says
Trump has got a hell of a mess left by the Democrats to clean up. Getting all of this crap out of the country isn’t going to be pretty.
Bill Cavanaugh says
This rhetoric from Wayne is brought to you by the guy who told us things were great when inflation was at a record 10% and China was flying spy balloons over Montana.
WMA says
Bill,
Thanks for reporting on my previous positions, but try to improve your accuracy. Frankly, I don’t remember weighing in on the balloon but I probably did. I know I never said inflation was fine during the Biden administration. I certainly would not have cited a 10 percent rate because the last time it was that high, Ronnie Reagan was president. During the post-Covid era, inflation topped out at 9 percent or so. I probably commented favorably on the Federal Reserve’s efforts to control that beast. And I certainly pointed out – correctly- that our overall economy was strong, diverse and growing under Biden.
Mike Miller says
I interpreted Bill’s comment as referring to Biden. Perhaps. he’ll clarify.
