Florence volleyball wins again

The Florence girls continued their winning ways last week, beating Arlee and Darby. They played at Arlee on Tuesday, October 8 and won 3-0 (25-7, 25-8, 25-15). For Florence, Dia Jenkins and Elise Schneiter each had 6 aces, Ava Philbrick had 7 kills, Maggie Schneiter had 20 assists, and Taylor Pyette had 7 digs. 

Then on Thursday, Oct. 10, Florence hosted Darby and won 3-0 (25-7, 25-11, 25-10). For Florence, Emory Ralston had 4 aces and 5 kills, Taylor Pyette had 4 aces, Elise Schneiter had 5 kills and a block, Aislynn Campbell had 5 kills, Maggie Schneiter had 15 assists, Ava Philbrick had a block, and Dia Jenkins had 6 digs.

Stevensville defeated Butte Central 3-0 on Thursday, Oct. 10 in Stevensville. For Stevensville, Lilly Newsom, Kenzi Frost, Jaidan Oyler, and Bella Raszler all had 2 aces, Sophia Hutchison had 8 kills and Riley Moore had 5, Jaidan Oyler had 17 assists, Kyndahl Plantz had 3 blocks, and Jaidan Oyler had 10 digs, while Lilly Newsom and Bella Raszler each had 5.

Hamilton played at Frenchtown on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and lost 0-3 (18-25, 23-25, 19-25). For Hamilton, Aurie Duncan had 16 kills, 2 aces and 15 digs, Dawsyn Ekin had 23 assists, and Kaitlyn Snavely had 2 blocks. Then on Saturday, Oct. 12 they hosted Dillon and lost 1-3 (22-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-25). For Hamilton, Aurie Duncan had 17 kills and 3 aces, Dawsyn Ekin 25 assists and 14 digs, Jade Jimenez had 3 aces, and Jenna Ellis and Kaitlyn Snavely each had 2 blocks.
