Bitterroot Wrestling Roundup

The wrestling teams from Corvallis, Florence, Hamilton and Stevensville joined 20 other schools in Ronan on Jan. 5th & 6th for the Western Montana Invitational and the Western Montana Duals. 

In the Team Dual competition, Florence finished in 6th, Corvallis took 7th, Hamilton took 8th and Stevensville took 16th. 

In the team results in the Invitational, Florence finished 2nd, Corvallis finished 6th, Stevensville finished in 13th, and Hamilton took 15th. 

Individually for Corvallis, Chase Davis placed 3rd at 103, Ben White placed 3rd at 138, Sean Davis placed 4th at 126, Colton Snyder placed 4th at 182, Conner Jessop placed 5th at 132, Maurice Craun placed 6th at 205, Quinn Wissenbach placed 6th at 120.

For the Corvallis girls, Kaelynn Vanderpool placed 3rd at 107. 

Individually for the Florence boys, Arie McLaughlin placed 1st at 285, Rowan Miller placed 2nd at 113, Max Rosenthal placed 2nd at 120, Jett Murray placed 2nd at 170, Jon Post placed 3rd at 132, Seth Wilson placed 4th at 145, Brett Riley placed 6th at 152, Jacob Roth placed 4th at 205, 

For the Florence girls, Hailey Sutton placed 1st at 152, and Malorey Lawrence placed 2nd at 132.

Individually for Hamilton, Brandon Saltzman placed 4th at 132, Aidan Toniazzo placed 6th at 170. For the Hamilton girls, Kailey Broad placed 4th at 138.

Individually for Stevensville, Matthew Liedtka placed 2nd at 152, Zachary Sannar placed 4th at 285. For the Stevensville girls, Keenya Gibson placed 4th at 132.

The Darby wrestling team made the short trip to Cut Bank on Jan. 5th & 6th for the Cut Bank Invitational alongside 25 other schools. As a team, the Darby girls finished 13th. Individually for the Darby girls, Logan Paddock took 1st at 152, Gracey Wood placed 3rd at 100, and Halana May placed 6th at 165.

As a team, the Darby boys finished 21st. Individually, Shannon Stuart placed 5th at 285.
