The Volleyball teams from Florence and Darby met in Florence on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd for an all-Bitterroot Valley matchup. Florence had too much firepower for Darby and won 3-0 (25-8, 25-6, 25-13). For Florence, Emory Ralston had 10 kills, Elise Schneiter had 6 aces, Maggie Schneiter had 5 assists and 3 blocks, and Olivia Coulter had 5 assists.
Florence continues to plow through the competition. On Thursday, Oct. 5th they traveled to Arlee and cruised to a 3-0 victory (25-9, 25-12, 25-11). Emma Mickelson had 4 aces, Elise Schneiter had 8 kills, Maggie Schneiter had 14 assists, and Ella Goeltz had 6 digs. Florence is now 10-1 on the season.
Hamilton hosted Stevensville on Thursday, Oct 5th in another all-Bitterroot Valley matchup. Hamilton won 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 26-24). Hamilton continues to roll through the competition and has won 9 straight matches. For Hamilton, Aurie Duncan had 8 kills, Cierra Cole had 6 aces and 16 digs, and Dawson Ekin had 7 assists.
Corvallis had a pair of road matches last week. First, on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd they went to Dillon and lost 0-3 (21-25, 12-25, 20-25). Then on Thursday, they traveled to Frenchtown and lost 2-3 in a 5 set heartbreaker (24-26, 25-22, 25-23, 15-25, 9-15).
