Invitation to Bid
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received at the Town of Stevensville, town hall until 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 3rd, 2023, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud in the Town Hall, located at 206 Buck Street Stevensville, Montana 59870 for the purpose of constructing water main improvement along Pine Street and Mission Street. All work is to be performed in accordance with the contract documents. All work shall be performed under the supervision of the Town of Stevensville Director of Public Works or their designated representative.

Proposals must be accompanied by security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the required contract and in the form specified in MCA 18-1-203, for example: cash, cashier’s check, certified check, bank money order, or bank draft, any of which must be drawn and issued by a national banking association located in the state of Montana or a banking association incorporated under the Laws of Montana; or a bid bond or bond executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in the state of Montana.
THE CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED TO THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE QUALIFIED BIDDER WHOSE BID PROPOSAL COMPLIES WITH ALL THE REQUIREMENTS.
Proposals shall be sealed and marked “Town of Stevensville – Water Main Replacement Pine and Mission Street Project” and addressed to: Town of Stevensville Attn: Jenelle Berthoud 206 Buck Street, Stevensville, MT 59870.
