We pay taxes to continue public education, provide a safe community by supporting law enforcement, prisons and mental health, and provide safe roads and bridges for transportation.
When our legislature decided to return our tax dollar, they were saying that all the systems are fixed.
However, Montana teachers are the lowest paid in the 50 states. After the operation levy failed last year, the Corvallis School established an
endowment that pays for teachers’ tuition when they apply for more education.
I am going to send a check equal to my tax rebate to the Corvallis School District, 1151 Eastside Hwy, Corvallis MT 59828, with the memo: Teacher Endowment.
