The boys and girls wrestling teams from Florence and Darby competed in the Western B/C Divisionals on February 3rd & 4th in Pablo. In the team standings, the Florence girls finished in 5th place and boys finished in 6th. The Darby boys finished in 23rd and the girls finished in 15th. Florence’s Malorey Lawrence was the girl’s Divisional Champion at 126 and Florence’s Hailey Sutton was the girl’s Divisional Champion at 152.
The following athletes placed at divisionals and qualified for state – season records are in parentheses. The All Class State Tournament will be held in Billings on February 10th & 11th.
For the Florence girls, Malorey Lawrence (17-10) took 1st at 126, Morgan Olson (13-15) took 7th at 145, and Hailey Sutton (19-2) took 1st at 152.
For the Darby girls, Logan Hughes (14-4) took 2nd at 165.
For the Florence boys, Max Rosenthal (25-13) placed 4th at 103, Jon Post (30-11) placed 5th at 120, Tash Murray (15-11) placed 9th at 120, Seth Wilson (30-17) placed 6th at 138, Adyn Meinzen (21-7) placed 4th at 152, Sean Larson (10-7) placed 7th at 170, Jett Murray (19-16) placed 8th at 170, Dallas Blair (23-13) placed 5th at 182, Jared Weaver (9-6) placed 10th at 182, and Arie McLaughlin (24-16) placed 5th at 285.
For Darby, Coltin Reagan (21-23) placed 8th at 132.
