Will Lovett Moore here. Independent like you! I happen to think that there are a lot of Independent thinking people like me here in Montana, SO I WAS SHOCKED to see my name listed as a Democrat running against Ron Marshall in the Montana Republican Party’s Ballot Recommendation, in an advertisement in the October 19th edition of the Bitterroot Star. Don’t get me wrong. If I was a Democrat or a Republican, I would proudly own it. I’m just NOT.
I have worked very hard to clearly establish myself as an Independent Candidate. I had to collect 252 House District 87 registered voter signatures to get on the November Ballot. Thank you, Ravalli County, for your trust in me in making that happen. I did my job and went out to meet you and hear your views at the Three Mile Community Center candidate meet and greet, the Stevensville Creamery Picnic Parade and celebration, the Corvallis Memorial Day Parade (Thanks, Dad and ALL veterans), the Ravalli County Fair, among others. I’ve knocked on your doors. I have put up campaign signs with my wife. I answered both Bitterroot Star questionnaires to the candidates amongst other questionnaires such as Vote Smart.
I would be remiss if I did not mention that I DID NOT SEE my opponent Ron Marshall meeting with you at ANY OF THESE EVENTS. I will keep my commitment to civil discourse in my politics because I believe we MUST be kind to one another and bring our people together MOORE, but I will damn sure fight back if I am attacked and I will tell the truth. The truth is that I am running as an INDEPENDENT for Montana House District 87.
