Stevensville – Joyce Plummer passed away Oct. 3, 2022 in her home surrounded by family. She was born in Vermont, IL but didn’t stay there long. In her 88 years she has lived in IL, OR, CA, ID, AZ and MT.
She was talented in many ways. Drawing up house plans, leatherwork, landscaping, decorating cakes and homes, growing flowers, baking and wood working – and doing them all well. She always enjoyed the outdoors too. Family and friends were always very important to her. She had a compassionate heart for people in need, even if they were strangers to her.
She was preceded in death by parents Dwight “Curley” and Loretta Smith; sisters Marie “Peggy” Smith, Virginia “Ginger” Knappke; brother Ike Smith; daughter Peggy; Son-in-Law Barry Schlecht.
She is survived by husband Ted of Stevensville; daughter Linda Yoder and Jerome of Stevensville; granddaughter Tanya LeCoure and Joe of Stevensville; great-grandkids Liam LeCoure of Shelby; A.J. LeCoure and Olivia of Lolo; Adrienne LeCoure of Hamilton; great-great-granddaughters Dahlia and Iris LeCoure of Lolo.
There is a huge vacancy in life with her passing to all that knew her.
