Last spring, the Corvallis Civic Club sponsored a well-attended forum for school board candidates. As the Civic Club begins its fall meeting schedule, it will again be hosting a meeting to help members of the public be well-informed about a decision they will soon be asked to make. At the November 8 general election, voters will decide whether to renew the Ravalli County Open Lands Program, which was first approved and funded in 2006.
The public is cordially invited to attend an informational meeting about the Open Lands Program and the ballot issue to renew it. There will be a presentation about what the program has done over the past 16 years and lots of opportunity to ask questions, so that everyone can cast an informed vote in November.
The meeting will take place on Monday, September 19, at 7:00 pm in the Corvallis High School Library. All are welcome to attend this open meeting.
