Wes Skinner

August 17, 2022 by Editor

Hamilton – Wes Skinner went to be with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, on August 9, 2022.

Please join us for a celebration of his life August 18, 2022, from 6-8:00 p.m., at the 3 Sisters’ Campground, at the boat dock side of Lake Como. It will be a dessert only celebration.

Wes was born to Jerry and Ginger Skinner, in Fort Myers, Florida. He joined his older brother, Glenn, and later came his two sisters, Terri and Tina.

At the tender age of 16, he married his high school sweetheart. Together, they had three children: Wes, Amy, and Cole. After their divorce in 1987, Wes moved to the Bitterroot Valley. He then married Rita Mitchell and welcomed Jade Josephine in 1996.

Wes was a generous man, with a very big heart. He was called friend by many. Wes had a talent and passion for operating heavy equipment. He was a perfectionist carpenter, mechanic, and welder. There really wasn’t much Wes could not do. He was known to get up in the night, or any time of day, and help anyone in need. He will be sorely missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Mitchell of 29 years; children, Jade and son-in-law Gus McBride, Wesy Skinner, Cole Skinner, Amy Odem; mother, Ginger Skinner, brother, Glenn (Tina) Skinner; sisters, Terri Skinner and Tina Silcox; his adopted daughter, Kayle, granddaughter, Kayce and son-in-law Joe King; nieces and nephews, Kale, Jess, Jared, and Casi.

Wes was truly one of a kind and very loved by his family. He is already missed.

Condolences for the family may be left at www.dalyleachchapel.com
