Our vote is our voice. If we don’t vote, we relinquish our voice to those people who do vote. Why should we trust them to speak for us and for our good?
On Thursday, 30 June 2022, from noon to 1 pm, at BJ’s Family Restaurant in Hamilton, women of all persuasions are invited to meet for lunch and to personalize “Postcards to Swing States,” to help get out the vote in places where Americans may not realize how much power they have to shape their own future and ours.
The effort is non-partisan. Postcards, a choice of messages, pens, and some stamps will be provided. Your lunch is on you and we ask that you spend at least $10 to help cover the cost of the room. Donations to the cost of supplies and stamps are appreciated but not required.
If enough women are interested in participating, we’ll offer the same opportunity every last Thursday of the month until the general election in November.
Why aren’t we gathering to send such postcards to Montana voters? Because so far no organization or individual has stepped up to supply the postcards and I am not able to do it myself. How about you?

Good on you Mary. Women’s health rights are on the chopping block in many states now and SCROTUS has it’s ‘religious majority’ eyes set on chopping more freedoms for citizens across this nation. It’s frustrating that a vote is our only prevention to backsliding 50 years. Mitch McConnell and Baby Donny ramrodded their three lying choices through just to appease an ignorant MAGA base. Now this nation must suffer the consequences for who knows how long.

Hmmm why should women send postcards to swing states to “get out the vote,” when they could do so here in Montana? How about this? Instead of swing states being targeted, send those postcards here to those who DON”T or won’t vote? Put your effort where it will do some good?
And ask FT who is paying for the cards and postage and pens that you will be using? wanna bet it is a Democratic group?

NOPE – we wouldn’t want to steal your sense of design. You look kinda cute in the one tinfoil hat you wear and those ear plugs are the right touch too. The blnders you wear though are dangerous. . How about making a matching tin foil tie then you will be really spiffy in your dress. Oh and while you are about it = how about paying for our gas and increased prices on EVERYTHNG thanks to BIDEN.
