Stevensville – Cheryl N. (Hancock) Ralls, 63, of Stevensville, Montana, was called home to heaven on April 9th, 2022, at St. Patrick’s Hospital surrounded by her family.
Cheryl was a caring, witty, and beloved wife, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. Cheryl’s
kindness softened the hearts of those around her and she was the glue of her family. Cheryl held a strong faith in Christ. Her family feels at peace knowing she has been reunited with her mother in heaven and that their final resting places will be beside each other in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery.
She was born Cheryl N. Hancock on October 2nd, 1958, to Floyd and Emmalyn Patricia Hancock in Anaconda, Montana. Her parents moved their growing family to Stevensville, Montana in 1960 where she grew up on their ranch. She was the oldest of three children.
On June 11th, 1994, Cheryl joined Mark Ralls in matrimony at St. Mary’s Parish. The two celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary last year.
Cheryl graduated from Stevensville High School in 1976. Her caring nature led her to help others. She worked at the Living Center, St. Mary’s Parish’s office, and in Home Health Care.
Cheryl enjoyed painting, gardening, time with friends and family, and rock collecting with her sister Ruth Stockdale. She never met a rock that was not pretty in her eyes. Cheryl loved animals and enjoyed the companionship of her many pets throughout her life.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Emmalyn Patricia Hancock and Floyd Hancock, and father-in-law Mike Ralls. She is survived by her husband Mark Ralls, brother Phil Hancock (Tracy), sister Ruth Stockdale (Jim); nephews Jason Hancock (Katie), Benjamin Ralls (Ariel), James Stockdale, Justin Stockdale, and Kyle Hash; nieces Rebecca Kerstetter (David), Alex Patricia Guthrie (Andrew), Sarah Ralls, and Samantha Stockdale; with 12 great-nieces and nephews and the Ralls and Hash families.
Please join Cheryl’s family in celebrating her life on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Parish in Stevensville at 11 a.m. followed by a graveside service, then we will be gathering at the Family Center for a celebration of life luncheon.
