In December 2021, JCCS Accounting Firm in Hamilton chose HEARTism Community Center in Corvallis to receive a $7500 grant. HEARTism offers classes, events, and camps to children, teens, and young adults with special abilities. HEARTism is also the only Autism Certified Center in all of Montana.

“We are honored to receive this award from JCCS,” said Jessica Fitzpatrick, HEARTism Director. “It comes at a critical time for us as our Autism Certification is up for renewal. We will use these funds to renew our certification, help pay for our new AmeriCorps VISTA, and to offset program costs to keep the center up and running. We are grateful for community members like JCCS.”

JCCS said they selected the organization because it provides programs to local families and children in our community that they know and love. HEARTism’s  mission is to provide education and socialization for children and young adults of all abilities through exploration of art, music, dance, nutrition, exercise and life skills activities, while offering support and education to families and the community.

“We could not continue to offer programming without generous support from our community and organizations like JCCS Accounting Firm,” said Fitzpatrick. “We are so thankful to be able to keep our doors open and hope to continue offering high quality programs to children and families in the future.”
