The Florence-Carlton girls traveled to Missoula Loyola on December 23rd and lost 62-51. Kassidy Yeoman scored 17 points, Kylie Kovatch had 10, and Kolbi Wood added 10. The Falcon boys also played Loyola and won 58-50. Beau Neal led the way with 20 points, followed by Tyler Abbott with 12 and Aiden Wayne with 10. The Florence boys played Stevensville on Dec. 21st. The Falcons built a 37-20 halftime lead and won 67-30. Beau Neal again led with 22 points, Aiden Wayne added 14 and Blake Shoupe scored six. For Stevensville, Lorenzo Grazzani scored eight points and TJ Brown added seven.
The Stevensville boys hosted East Helena on Dec. 23rd. Stevensville started strong and led 13-7 after the first quarter, but eventually lost 42-29. Cole Olson led the way with 12 points and Grazzani added 10.
The Stevensville girls also played East Helena and won 52-41, thanks to a dominating 4th quarter where they outscored East Helena 17-9. Claire Hutchison led with 17 points followed by Cambree Praast with 14 and Lexy Perez with eight.
The Hamilton boys hosted Missoula Loyola on Dec. 21st and won a close game 45-41. Eli Taylor led the way with 12 points, followed by Asher Magness with 11 and Max Cianflone with nine.
The Corvallis girls hosted Butte Central on December 21st and lost 25-58. Tylin Sorenson scored eight, Erika Jessop scored five and Madeline Gilder added four. The following day Corvallis faced a tough Frenchtown team and lost 17-43. Sorenson and Erika Jessop each scored four points. On December 21st, the Corvallis boys lost 40-53 to a strong Butte Central team. Donovan Potter scored 12 points and Aaron Powell added eight. The following night the Corvallis boys traveled to Frenchtown and lost 47-64. Donovan Potter had a big night, scoring 25 points, and David Brock added seven.
