Silvia P. ‘Patty’ Lucas

Darby – Silvia P. “Patty” Lucas, 44, formerly of Missoula, passed away due to acute complications associated with Covid 19 at the UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital in Denver Thursday, October 14th, 2021.

Patty was born to Ventura and Silva Chcon Vasquez in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, March 18, 1977, where she attained her early education. Patty met and married her loving husband Nathan A. Lucas in Albuquerque, New Mexico, December 23, 2002.  Nathan and Patty moved to Missoula, where she attained a Medical Administration Degree at Missoula College. Patty was employed by Dr. Scott C. Wyman, OBGyn in Missoula for several years and she loved taking care of people.  After moving to Darby, she gained employment with Sapphire Community Health in Hamilton.

Patty had a deep appreciation and love for her family, she really loved being a Mom to her two boys, Clayton and Liam. She enjoyed watching the boys play in the hockey and football games, her boys were her everything. Patty read the bible every night before going to sleep, she was a devout Christian and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Patty regularly attended the Christian Life Center in Missoula. Psalm 62: 1-2 Truly my soul finds rest in God. Que descanse en paz eterna – May she rest in eternal peace.

Patty is survived by her husband Nathan A. Lucas, sons Clayton B. “Clay” Lucas and Liam A. Lucas.  Mother Silvia Chacon Vasquez; brother Lupe Chacon Vasquez and his wife Cecelia; niece Hetza and nephew Eli all of Ciudad Jua’rez, Mexico.

A graveside service will be held at Lone Pine Cemetery in Darby, Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow at the Darby Community Clubhouse.  Pastor Steve Flatau will be officiating.  Brothers Mortuary and Crematory are honored to care for the family.
