After downplaying the virus for ten months, Senator Daines jumped right up to the front of the line for the vaccine, just to make sure it is safe for Montana. Daines knows real leadership. An average man may have said something like “Put the people I serve first” or “I’ll wait till everybody has the opportunity.” Not Daines, he knows get out there six months ahead. If he has to suffer a sore arm for a couple of days under the best medical care, that’s fine – protect the common folk.
When the first vials are available. I expect the Congress to elbow to the front in sacrificial mass to protect the country. Those of us not dead, or on a ventilator, or suffering long term symptoms, well, hope is good.
This ain’t no banana republic here. No sir! We got leaders!
