Bitterroot Veterans take heart, Laura Merrill has your back. For thirty years, I served wounded veterans as the provider of mental health services in the Bitterroot and Salmon, ID. I was (now retired) the contracted provider for the Missoula Vet Center and authorized provider for the VA hospitals at Fort Harrison, MT and Boise, ID. When a homeless Idaho veteran called me (from a local campground) seeking help in locating a place, in the Bitterroot, to permanently park his camper trailer, I called Laura Merrill for help. She responded the next day, by going out to his camp to meet him and offer her assistance. She follows up her words with action. You can count on her to care.
