Marijuana? NOPE

October 20, 2020 by Guest Post

By Dennis Hicks, Hamilton

Colorado citizens had to make the same decision, and they decided wrong. They were told that allowing recreational marijuana would bring in additional tax revenues. It didn’t. It cost them more than they ever dreamed.

Colorado citizens were told they could regulate the use of marijuana usage and keep it from corrupting their youth. They were wrong on that account too. Now they have discovered they cannot control the drug cartels from turning neighborhood homes into growing houses and destroying their wilderness areas with unlicensed growing operations.

The Colorado experiment with marijuana is a great laboratory for other states that are considering legalizing recreational marijuana. They discovered it’s a massive con-game and their citizens are the victims. Have you wondered why any group would donate $4.8 million to convince Montana voters to pass Montana Constitutional Initiatives 190 and 118? It’s probably not teenagers wanting to party. The pro-marijuana commercials will begin running in Montana on October 13th. I wonder who is paying for the expensive commercials?

If you vote for these initiatives without investigating what happened in Colorado when they legalized marijuana, then you will be complicit in corrupting our “last great place.” Here’s where you can find out what happened in Colorado when they legalized marijuana:
