Dave Hurtt, I think the people in your precinct need to know what they got for voting you in as a committee person on the Ravalli County Republican Central Committee.

When a person gets elected or appointed to a position on the Central Committee they take an oath to uphold the Federal and State Constitutions as well as the Republican platform and to get Republicans elected to office. 

You recently came out publicly supporting a Democratic candidate running against one of our Republican candidates here in the valley. Now the beauty of this great nation is that a person can choose to vote for whomever they so choose. However, you pledged an oath to support Republican candidates. You violated that oath because of personal feelings about a candidate.

In regard to the candidate that you disparaged, you said that she was a person that voted “No” all the time. Have you ever considered that maybe the people want someone to vote NO to higher taxes, NO to more government programs, NO to the government spending our money wastefully, and NO to programs that take from the working class and give to those that choose not to be productive? Yes, the same people that voted for Theresa Manzella also voted for you. Do you really represent the people in your precinct? I have to say that I do admire your willingness to come out of the closet and admit the betrayal to your party. Some of your cohorts still lurk in the darkness carrying out their scheme. 

Since you are willing to sacrifice your integrity to violate an oath you took, maybe you can find what’s left of that integrity and resign from the Ravalli County Central Committee. Take your blind hate to the Democratic party. You’ll fit right in there!
