No Vote Theresa

September 8, 2020 by Guest Post

By Dave Hurtt, Florence

We can do better!  It matters to Ravalli County who we elect. In the 2019 session, state legislators passed an economic development bill that is having a significant impact in creating jobs in Ravalli county today. HB-293, Montana Economic Development Industry Advancement Act, known as MEDIA, created a tax credit for the movie and TV industry for using Montana in their productions. Already work has begun in our county with the filming by Yellowstone Productions. This is a big deal for our local area jobs and our local valley legislators need to be congratulated, well, all except one. That’s right, one House member from Ravalli County voted against the bill. Radical Theresa has been in the state House for three terms and has done NOTHING FOR HER DISTRICT. Look at her record – stunning that she did nothing for three terms to help our county, all she did was vote NO! And now she wants to be the state Senator for the north half of the county. Our constitution creates legislative districts so that the people in all districts are represented. Radical Theresa live in Darby, so if she is elected, SD-44 will not have a representative in the State Senate.

Thankfully, we have an excellent option. We have a candidate that lives here and has a proven record of community effort and service. She has been involved in many local and regional efforts, and has a record of working toward and finding solutions. She is approachable, cares and is focused on helping Ravalli County develop job growth and tax base opportunities. Jobs matter, internet improvement matters, cooperation matters. Margaret Gorski is our best choice. Time for Radical No Vote Theresa to end her era of ridicule and hate.

Margaret Gorski is a vote for the positive in SD-44!

If you would prefer to vote in a Democrat to this office, please leave the party and join them.

I appreciate Dave Hurtt’s strong endorsement of candidate Margaret Gorski for SD-44. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Margaret and because of the person I have gotten to know and respect, I have been helping with her campaign. Margaret has varied experience and would be a great asset to our district. Integrity, honesty, and the ability to LISTEN are only a few qualities that make her the best candidate to represent us. She truly cares about the future of the Bitterroot and is one of the most hard working people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is our neighbor and takes the commitment of representing us seriously.
I hope voters will “vote smart” and not succumb to “alphabet soup”. It is time.
