The Class A golfers are golfing when and where ever they can this year. They have been competing since the third week of August and will be competing at divisional tournaments around the state this weekend. Hamilton hosted another high school tournament over the weekend.
The Hamilton boys and Polson boys tied for first with each team shooting a 339. Frenchtown was one stroke behind at 340. Corvallis took fourth with 372, followed by Libby (383), Ronan (385) and Browning (426).
Ben Duhame of Frenchtown won the tournament with a score of 80. Max Cianflone was right behind at 81 along with Hunter Emerson of Polson. Tanner Hanson of Hamilton and Dylan Kormic rounded out the top five scoring with 82 each.
The Corvallis girls team won the team scoring by shooting a combined 388. Ronan was second with 393, Polson had 396, Frenchtown had 408, Browning had 411 and Hamilton was at 430.
Corvallis’ Macee Greenwood shot a 77 to win. Jasmine Oyler of Stevensville was second with an 85. Aly Rose of Hamilton was third with an 89.
Polson will host the divisional tournament this weekend.
