Happy thoughts about Stevensville

August 18, 2020 by Guest Post

By Sue Devlin, Stevensville

I asked people to please comment on what they love about living in Stevensville and the Stevensville area. With their permission, here are some comments:

CCK: “Our public works department rocks!”

CS: “Walking down Main Street and seeing all the smiling faces”

SGG: “I love the small town charm but more than that I love the beautiful people who live here. Friends who look out for each other. Neighbors who greet you across the fence and in the grocery store. I love the memories we’ve made here and the memories we have yet to make. Love watching the kids enjoy the skate park. Some of them are so skilled. When my grandchildren are in town they enjoy watching them too.”

BPH: “We have a very nice skate park that gives kids a place to go”

LVBM: “I’ll never forget moving there 14 years ago. Everyone I ran into asked how I was and said, welcome to Stevensville. So refreshing from other places I’ve lived. I was amazed at how wonderful the school system is. Great place for young families.”

MH: “I love that neighbors help each other and still care about each other. Stevensville residents are friendly to newcomers.”

JR: “Stevensville is the small town living that people dream of. Everyone leaves you alone, but in time of need this little community comes together.”

DES: “Grew up in Stevi. Love welcoming new people to our beautiful town.”

BS: “Love seeing kids and families enjoying ice cream together on Main Street outside of our Valley Drug store. It’s the little things.”

HB: “We need a Chinese Restaurant here.”

SD: “When I moved to Stevensville 14 years ago, I finally felt like I had finally found HOME. I’ve lived all over this country, Canada and several foreign countries. This town got into my heart and soul.”
