Dr. Calderwood has resigned as head health official of Ravalli County, because of the commissioners of Ravalli County’s decision to disobey Governor Bullock’s directives.
Bullock has carefully reopened Montana in the hopes that he can keep the numbers of covid cases down in Montana. Ravalli County is seeing cases rise and now with the muffling of our health department, we will not know when and if we are safe.
Ravalli County is a RED county and is following the lead of the head of our country. Do we want to be where Florida, Arizona, and Texas are now? That is what will happen here because of the ignorance of our commissioners. Time to vote them out of their jobs and make our county safe again.

I understand two of our commissioners berated people in public for wearing masks. One made fun of a visitor in Naps; the other complained loudly to a store owner about her mask policy. What do they think their job is? Endangering the public? Total mystery.
