Robert W. Mattijetz

Robert W. Mattijetz, 68, of Stevensville, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 29, 2019.

Robert was born August 25, 1951 to Herbert and Norma Jean Mattijetz in Glendale, California. He was a graduate of South Pasadena High School. He married the love of his life, Mary Jeannette (Schmerberg), in Alhambra Park, California in 1976.

Robert was a sheet metal worker for 35 years. He loved to entertain family and friends on his guitar. He also enjoyed wood working projects, hiking, fishing and camping.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his wife Jeannette and son Zachary of Stevensville, and his brother Micheal Mattijetz, of Sisters, Oregon.

Services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Eckert officiating.
