Stevensville – Robert “Bob” F. Allen of Stevensville went to his heavenly home on September 9, 2019 at the age of 75. He was born December 13, 1943 to Robert T. and Catherine “Pat” H. Allen in Butte, MT. The family lived in the Townsend area until 1949 when they moved to Victor where he met and fell in love with Jane Speake. They got married April 19, 1969 and spent 50 years together. Bob and Jane were blessed to adopt two beautiful baby girls, Tawny in March of 1974 and Tresa in November of 1975.
Bob worked in various sawmills until he went to work for Evans Product which became Louisiana Pacific and later, Roseburg Forest Products until his retirement after almost 40 years. Bob was known as a strong, hardworking man.
Bob had a love for the outdoors, fishing and all animals. His daughters considered him the animal whisperer and his brothers’ best memories always included some activity outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Jane; two daughters, Tawny (Randy) Waga and Tresa Allen; three grandchildren, William (Jamie) Allen, Caitlin Allen and Devlin Bolis; three greatgrandchildren; three brothers, Wayne (Ellen) Allen, Gerald Allen and Rick (Brenda) Allen. He will be missed by all that knew him.
