The Hamilton Broncs didn’t let a little rain bother them in their game against Corvallis on Friday night. With the deluge hitting the artificial turf, the Broncs came out and promptly scored every time they had possession in the first three plays of the game. The Broncs were up, 19-0 in the first quarter and went on to win, 47-7.
Corvallis transfer Mason Murray scored early on a 34 yard pass from Carson Rostad and Tyson Rostad kicked the PAT. Murray, who transferred from Corvallis at Christmas last year also scored in the third quarter the Carson Rostad hit him from 14 yards out. Carson Rostad was deadly from the air. He nailed Tucker Jones from 17 yards out for the third touchdown of the game and the found Jaiden Klemundt with a five yard pass. Carson Rostad also had an 11 yard scoring run in the first quarter. Landon Duce pushed through from four yards out in the end of the second quarter and then had the final score on the night with another four yard run. Tyson Rostad kicked four PATs.
Corvallis scored in the fourth quarter when Jaymark Liedle found Chase Tucker in the end zone from 38 yards out. Emil Bohne kicked the PAT.
In other action, Dillon upended Stevensville, 42-0. Florence lost to Manhattan, 54-14, and Victor lost to Thompson Falls, 60-0.
