The amount of turnover in President Trump’s administration’s short tenure is unprecedented. He has made many appointments, only to fire or force them out later. This turmoil does not work out so well, not for the appointee, not for the department and not for the American public.
Jon Tester is for Veterans. No one will argue this point. When Jon saw someone nominated to take over the Veterans Administration that he felt was unqualified, he spoke up. To speak against President Trump with an election coming up took guts. Jon Tester is no YES man.
Whether you like all of Trump’s policies or not, we must all agree that he has selected a lot of people who have, for one reason or another not worked out. Jon did not want the Veteran’s Administration to be thrown into turmoil by a poor selection by the President. He stood up for Vets yet again.
Republican or Democrat, we all owe our Vets the best care they can have. I am voting for our Veterans by voting for Jon Tester.
