This is a somewhat belated thank you to the new owner of the Fort Owen Ranch, Myla Yahraus. What a joy to hear of her civic minded attitude and wanting to do what is best for Stevensville and the entire area. Re-opening the fishing access site where it has been traditionally for years is a real blessing. It has plenty of room to launch boats and rafts, a substantial amount of parking, a naturally gentle slope into the water and best of all, the backing and support of FWP to install badly needed restroom facilities. Ms. Yahraus stated that ‘all we have is on loan from God’. I say amen to that. We all need to live by those words.
