The Hamilton Broncs began a bit slowly in their game against rival Corvallis. The two teams were tied at the end of the first inning at 2 all. Corvallis took the lead in the third inning when Ashlynn Nixon stepped up and hit a two-strike home run to center field. The momentum continued for Corvallis in the top of the fourth when Maria Hickey hit a long ball to center field for a home run. She also had an RBI as Ciera Jessop scored too.

But the bottom of the fourth was the Bronc’s inning. After a bunt   by Sophia Doyle who got on base, Hayley Hudgins was hit by a pitch and moved to first. The two stole second and third to be in scoring position when Mikayln Brickley hit a double to score Doyle and Hudgins. With the bases loaded, Sky Lopez scored on a wild pitch and Brickley scored on an error. By the time the inning was over, Hamilton had 10 runs in the scorebook. The Broncs scored three more runs in the fifth inning, ending the game on the 10-run rule. Final score, Hamilton 15, Corvallis 5.
