I just wanted to say the biggest thank you to Myla Yahraus. The fishing access at Stevi has been a part of my life for close to 30 years. The first fish I caught in the Bitterroot was right in front of this access. I’ve walked with 2 different generations of dogs at this access. When my boys were younger we would spend countless hours skipping and throwing rocks at this access. I’ve used this access on summer nights to go unwind after work standing in the river casting a fly. My drift boat has either taken out or put in at this access too many times to count. In this over politicized world the placement of the concrete barriers at this access was just another sign that madness was going to reign. The removal of these concrete barriers, for me, restored a little bit of hope. If you, your friends, or family would ever like to take a float down the river do not hesitate to ask.
