James W. ‘Jim’ Clark

December 12, 2017 by Editor

1/16/45 – 11/28/2017

Florence – Born in Edmond, Alberta, Canada, to Bob and Ruth Clark, Jim spent many years traveling the world, never meeting a stranger or hesitating to lend a helping hand. He spent most of his adult life in Fort Worth, Texas. Many remember him as Officer Clark, Badge #9, Haltom City Police Department. He spent his off-duty time as a flight instructor and private pilot.

Jim and Cissy relocated to Florence, Montana, spending his retirement years near his childhood home of Missoula, where he loved to spend his days, fishing in the river or hunting in the mountains. His final flight plan was completed last Tuesday, November 28, 2017, leaving behind his beloved wife, best friend and soul mate, Cissy Clark, sister, Bobi Clark-Anderson, brother, Carl Clark, Sr. and sister, Annell Clark-Walech, son Cody Clark/Tanya and four grandchildren, daughters Cristal Clark-Anthony/David and three grandchildren, Amy Welch-McLean/Toby and six grandchildren, Sarah Welch-Kiefer/Elvis and two grandchildren and Lauri Godkin and three children, eight great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other’s kids that considered him “Dad”.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the American Heart Association, transplant, https://donatenow.heart.org/. Thankful for 17 extra years, his heart never failed us. Love you, Daddy.

A memorial service was held on Monday, December 4, 2017 at the Whitesitt Funeral Home, 314 Church Street, Stevensville, MT.  Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.whitesittfuneralhome.com.
