The season is winding down for the valley’s volleyball teams. The Class A and C schools will have district tournaments. Hamilton, Corvallis and Stevensville will be in Frenchtown. Victor and Darby will be at Valley Christian in Missoula. There is no district tournament for the Florence Lady Falcons who are undefeated in regular season play.
Corvallis finished second in the Missoula Invitational over the weekend, losing to Missoula Sentinel in the championship match. They are in first place in the Southwest A conference.
Stevensville toped Butte Central in a regular season match on Saturday, 25-14, 25-17, 24-26, 25-19. Angel Richards had 15 of the team’s 57 kills. Mikayla Newman had three blocks and Mikayla Hall had 15 digs. Quinn Larson had 49 assists and Cassi Kopsa finished with three aces.
