A young man from Darby, Jake Sanders, is in a battle in Salt Lake City at the Utah Children’s Hospital. He was recently diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins T-Cell Lymphoma and is currently undergoing treatment. Sanders played for the Darby Tiger football team and wore the number 61. The Tigers decided to honor Sanders, inspire him to keep fighting and raise awareness of his plight and that of his mother, Debi by painting their field for the final game of the season.
