Jacqueline Colleen Epling, 83, formerly of Stevensville, MT, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at a Great Falls care facility. At her request, no services are planned.
Jacque was born in Corvallis, Oregon on April 21, 1934 to Leonard and Helen (Carlson) Epling. She grew up in Washington State and graduated there from high school. After high school she joined the military and did her training at Lackland Air Force Base. She served in the WAF (Women’s Air Force) at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico from 1952 to 1954.
Jacque worked as a medical supply representative at Biddle & Crowther Co. for most of her career in Washington.
She was a member of the Stevensville VFW and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies’ Auxiliary. She attended the Great Falls Nazarene Church and participated in the women’s ministry there.
Jacque loved to fish and usually out-fished whoever was with her.
Jacque is survived by her brother Raoul Epling of San Francisco and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Tanya Miller.
Memorials in her name may be given to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10018, 4741 North Baltimore Street, Tacoma, WA 98407.
