Well, if nothing else, Senator Daines is predictable. Every vote he cast on the Senate’s various “health care” bills was in lock step with his party. Never mind that every bill left thousands more Montanans without health care, hurt veterans and, if passed, would have led to the demise of some of our small rural hospitals, thereby compounding the damage.
Thankfully, enough Senators, including Senator Tester, bravely bucked the attempted destruction of our already fragile health care system.
The trick is to make sure Senator Daines understands that we will hold him accountable for his votes. The Senate is in recess. He should be in Montana looking us in the eye and listening to our concerns. Where is he? I haven’t heard that he’s scheduled any meetings with us. Have you?
Call his office and let him know it’s time to quit hiding and listen to the people he claims to represent.
