The Bitterroot Red Sox split their double header against the Missoula Mavs on Thursday night. The Red Sox took an early lead in the bottom of the first inning when Cam Rothie crossed home plate after advancing to second on a balk. Tylor Nixon, who got on base on a walk, also scored  off a Matthew Brown hit.

The Red Sox made a pitching change in the third inning when Ladd Grenfell took over for Hunter Omlid. The Macs took advantage of the change and  scored seven runs including a base-clearing home run to put the Red Sox down by five runs. The Red Sox cam back in the third with two of the first three batters in the inning walking, and then scoring. Brown hit a stand up triple to score Nixon and Hunter Omlid before the Missoula defense tightened up. The Macs went on to score 12 more runs for a total of 19 while the Red Sox knocked in 12 runs.

In the second game of the double header, the Red Sox came alive behind Nixon. He smacked a homer in the first inning to set the tempo for the Red Sox. He took the 6-1 win on the mound while striking out 10 batters.

The Bitterroot Bucs lost to the Clackamas Hammers on Friday, 12-4. Braxton McCullough took the loss for the Bucs. Alex Gavlak and Colby Kohlman each had doubles. Gavlak went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Jake Finley and Liam LeCoure also had RBIs.

The Bucs defeated Eastside at the Helena Tournament on Thursday, 10-5. Marcus Zeiler was the winning pitcher. Zeiler went 2-for-5 at bat with two singles and two RBIs. McCullough went 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Kohlman also had two RBIs, and Brenden Bailer had one.

The Bucs lost to the Columbia Basin River Dogs, 5-1, on Friday. Zach Christopherson was the losing pitcher. On Saturday, the Bucs came from behind to top Calgary, 7-6, on a steal at home by Gavlak. The Bucs then played Columbia Basin on Sunday morning for third but lost, 13-2.
