North Valley wins championship. It was a battle of the Bitterroot in Belgrade over the weekend when the South Valley All Stars met the North Valley All Stars for the State 9U championship in Belgrade over the weekend. This was the fourth time the two teams had met. North Valley came out the winner and the state champion this time with a 9-5 win. Levi Winters was the winning pitcher in the game. Jacob Schneiter, who is eight years old, had a triple in the game. The North Valley team will now advance to Meridian, Idaho, for the regional tournament on July 19-22.
